Clifton Springs, Victoria

These slowly rotting piles are all that remain of the old Clifton Springs jetty, built in 1889. It can be difficult for a photographer to find something new, something of one's own at such oft photographed locations. This long exposure, gave the sea a gorgeous satin effect and the sky a "chalked" look that I really like. Monochrome seemed a no-brainer to me.
